2nd Biomass Heat Networking Forum:
Growing the Value Chain for
Agriculture and Rural Biomass Heat Businesses

BIOMASS FUELS – ENERGETIC GROWTH SECTOR
Solid biomass fuels present significant opportunities for meeting our thermal heating needs. Biomass feedstocks from crop residues and dedicated biomass crops could meet a significant portion of the demand for heating requirements, especially in rural Ontario. Biomass fuels are renewable, carbon neutral, and mitigate greenhouse gases. They also contribute to economic sustainability.
BIOMASS HEAT POTENTIAL IN ONTARIO
The 2nd Annual Biomass Heat Networking Forum is an excellent occasion for all stakeholders – agricultural producers, technology providers, utilities, rural municipalities and all levels of government – to discuss and explore the challenges, but more importantly, the opportunities for a biomass heat industry in Ontario.
The Biomass Heat Networking Forum will bring together domestic and international organizations that recognize the opportunities that exist to develop a new and exciting bioheat industry to that meets current and future demands for economical and environmentally sustainable heating in Ontario. The Forum is your opportunity - - not only to identify what needs to be done, but to also explore business opportunities and partnerships that will benefit your business and foster growth in this evolving industry.
