Biogas 101: Introduction to Building a Biogas System Workshop

Monday, March 8, 2010
Hilton London Ontario

Building Your Own Biogas System
Farm-based biogas is the ideal form of distributed generation, offering a wide range of economic and environmental benefits.

Interested in learning more about the opportunities - and practicalities - of farm-based biogas systems and how to implement a project?  If so, then you should attend the Biogas 101 Workshop, March 8, 2010 in London, Ontario.

Biogas 101 will introduce you to the basics you need to know in order to take advantage of opportunities in this rapidly evolving field. And there is more about to happen.  The Feed-in Tariff program under the Green Energy and Green Economy Act has opened up a raft of renewable energy possibilities.

Experts in the various aspects of biogas systems, including the regulatory framework, as well as operators who have already implemented projects, will provide the information you require to make informed decisions about your project.

Who Should Attend?
Biogas 101 is tailored to farmers and greenhouse operators contemplating the installation of a system of their own.  It is an excellent starting point for those also interested in attending the 2nd Annual Canadian Farm and Food Biogas Conference and Exhibition (March 10-11th) and learning more about this renewable energy growth area.

The Biogas 101 Workshop is presented by Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, AgriEnergy Producers’ Association of Ontario, and Farm Credit Canada.
